Create "A Birthday Cake for Jesus" as a special Christmas memory which emphasizes the reason for Christmas and reminds us that we can celebrate the love of Christmas all year long.
* Bake a round cake, any flavor, and ice with creamy white frosting to symbolize Christ's purity.
* Decorate the top of the cake with a yellow star, which symbolizes Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus.
* Next place an angel (wax or plastic) in the center of the star to remind us that the angels brought tidings of great joy.
* A circle of 12 red candles around the top of the cake symbolizes the light of Christ throughout the year.
* Finally, surround the cake with a wreath of evergreens to symbolize everlasting life.
