Note: Not only does sugar break down the immune system which makes it less likely that your body will be able to fight off colds, flu and other illnesses, it causes serious problems for those with arthritis, fibromyalgia, diabetes, and those who are trying to stay slim.  To reduce or eliminate sugar from your diet, stevia, a natural healthy sweetener, is a wonderful substitute!  It can be found at a health food store or in the health food section of your grocery store.  I like NuStevia the best (powdered form) but it is also available in liquid form.  It costs more than sugar but very little is needed and it does not break down the immune system like sugar.
