Cream of Broccoli Soup

This evening I made cream of broccoli soup.  It was very easy and we really enjoyed it.  Simply steam a bunch of broccoli until almost tender but still bright green.  Use purified water for steaming, then use that and some milk later to thin down the soup a bit.  Peel and slice the thick stems and steam them too.  Spoon the steamed broccoli into a blender with some pepper jack cheese and a little Cheddar or Colby cheese and give it a whirl.  Add the steaming water, milk and a little salt.  Simple, delicious and healthy for you!  Freezes well!
